Job TitleManager in Training (MIT)
Job DescriptionThe MIT program trains associates in every segment of the business and culture. Upon successful completion, the associate will have the opportunity to run their own branch.

- Preferably a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business.
- Two years of industry or industry-related experience in building materials.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; self‑motivated and enthusiastic about the business.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Analytical, able to solve problems effectively.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ethical, honest, and dependable.
- Current state‑issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Legally entitled to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a company‑required drug test.
- Read, speak, and write English to communicate with vendors, customers, and employees.
- Experience in the building material distribution industry, especially selling residential and commercial roofing products, with demonstrated success to a local contractor base.
- Management experience of at least two years, preferably in building material distribution.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial roofing, windows, entry doors, and exterior siding.
- Internet proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong managerial, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing business environments.
- Two years of industry or industry‑related experience in home building or remodeling (plus).
- Two years of prior management experience, preferably in the building material distribution industry.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
