- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated access points to help regulate entry and exit, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity as required.
- Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with store management and/or emergency responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, report security-related concerns, and support a professional environment.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.li>
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
