Security Officer

Security Officer – Covenant Health System, Lubbock, TX
Full‑time, evening shift on site

Under general supervision, patrol assigned areas of the campus to deter, detect, and investigate crime or suspicious activity that could cause harm to people or property. Provide information and assistance to patients, employees, and visitors. Write detailed incident reports and other required documentation. Take and maintain control of disruptive individuals for arrest by local police when warranted. Focus on individual safety and loss prevention.

While on duty carry Department issued handcuffs and a non‑lethal device after completion of classroom and practical training.

• Texas Non‑Commissioned Security Officer license from the Texas Private Security Board/Department of Public Safety within 30 days of hire
• At least one year of security, law enforcement, military, or police experience, preferably in a hospital or campus setting
• Driving may be required; provide proof of valid driver’s license and auto insurance if requested
