, a local mid-sized heavy civil construction company has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Excavator Operator
.

An Excavator Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy construction equipment.

• 5+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment Operation
• Safe operation of Excavator

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
• Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor. Clean equipment on a regular basis.
• Perform job tasks in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the equipment (lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, sitting, walking, and climbing).
• Effective Communication Skills (speech, vision, hearing/listening).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Some OT may be required depending on weather & project status.
• Perform other duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates.
