TITLE: Service Technician
LOCATION: Lubbock, TX
POSITION
REPORTS TO:
Service Manager
SCHEDULE: TBN by manager. This position requires extensive out-of-town travel. Must be able to work nights, early, stay late and/or work on weekends as needed
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills
RESPONSIBILITIES- Repair, replace, and install 12v and 110v fuel pumps
- Repair, replace, and install air operated and pneumatic pumps
- Service other pump related equipment (meters, nozzles, hoses, etc.)
- Repair, replace, and install tank monitoring system
- Repair, replace, and install Fuel Management System
- Repair, replace, and install tank piping, stingers, fill lines and vent systems
- Responds to and manages customer inquiries
- Conducts physical inventory counts
- Stocks inventory
- Work productively without constant supervision
- Pick up / Delivery / Relocate spill berms
- Trouble shooting electrical issues
- Service on Gasboy equipment
- Ensure quality, delivery, and timeliness of orders are met
- Other related tasks and projects as assigned by manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Locals only (must live within 60 miles)
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to interact with and develop good working relationships with technical and administrative staff
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel programs
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and proactive with time management
- Stable past employment history
- Good attendance record
- Honesty and a good work ethic
- Ability to get along with others and work well in a team environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends and travel out of town
- Ability to be flexible for schedule changes if needed
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Ability to climb on top of the tanks up to 40ft.
- Courteous and friendly nature when dealing with customers
- Experience communicating with customers on job related activities
- Ability to complete paperwork effectively, efficiently and accurately
- Experience working with fuel equipment
- Familiar with oil field lease road surround the area
- Service experience in the trucking industry
- Ability to operate an Ipad
- Electrical background
- Experience with piping installation
- Experience with Gasboy Dispenser
- Experience with Tecalemit FMS
- Roustabout experience
- Bilingual
