Vacancy: HVAC Technicians (Service & Installation)
Hart Heating and A/C, a trusted HVAC leader since 1995, is expanding fast in the Lubbock area, TX. We are looking for one HVAC Service Technician and one HVAC Installation Technician.
Compensation and Benefits- Hourly salary: $28–$30 per hour (based on experience and performance)

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM;
Overtime during busy seasons;
On‑call rotation (service techs) approximately 1 week per month.
You will deliver high‑quality HVAC solutions—whether diagnosing and repairing systems or installing new ones—while providing customers with comfort, reliability, and peace of mind.
HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, and refrigeration issues
- Analyze system performance and recommend solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide options
- Install HVAC systems including units, ductwork, and components
- Ensure systems are installed for efficiency, safety, and performance
- Work with tools including torches, gauges, and fabrication tools
- Test systems and ensure proper operation upon completion
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environments
- Deliver high‑quality workmanship and stand behind your work
- Use tools such as meters, gauges, and hand tools effectively
- Always ensure customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Minimum 3+ years HVAC experience (service or installation)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and airflow and heat transfer
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Valid driver’s license
- Detail‑oriented and organized
- Strong communication and listening skills
