Position: Traveling Electrician for FAA Airfield Systems

Electricians - FAA Infrastructure / Airfield Systems - Per Diem + Paid Travel - Up to $35/hr - Multiple Locations

System One is seeking experienced Traveling Electricians to support a major FAA contract focused on critical upgrades to the U.S. National Airspace System. This role involves 100% travel, working on projects at airports and remote federal facilities nationwide. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in industrial or infrastructure electrical work and a willingness to travel extensively.

What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrician (no license required)
  • Experience with underground and above-ground electrical installations
  • Background in industrial, infrastructure, or construction environments
  • Ability to perform civil work elements (trenching, conduit, concrete, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to operate or work around heavy equipment
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide
  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
  • Ability to pass federal background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and DOT physical requirements
What Will Make You Stand Out
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with FAA, aviation, or airfield systems
  • Strong customer interaction and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office for reporting)
