Description
This position is onsite and requires the ability to commute to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.
ResponsibilitiesIn addition to meeting the requirements of the General Maintenance Mechanic, this position repairs and maintains HVAC equipment, controls, and related systems—including air handlers, package heat/cool units, heat pumps, refrigerators, ice machines, and the HVAC pneumatic control system—safely and efficiently. The individual performs repair and maintenance functions in patient rooms, offices, and other assigned hospital areas and floats to support off‑site hospital‑owned properties.
Required Qualifications- One (1) to two (2) years of formal training in mechanical or construction trades
- National EPA Section 608 Certification – State County City Trade License Authority upon hire
- Two (2) years of experience with HVAC operations and associated systems in an industrial or institutional environment
- Hospital experience
