HVAC Technician - Plant Maintenance

This position is onsite and requires the ability to commute to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

In addition to meeting the requirements of a General Maintenance Mechanic, this role involves performing repairs and maintenance functions and evaluating the effectiveness of all HVAC equipment, controls, and related systems—including air handlers, package heat/cool units, heat pumps, refrigerators, ice machines, and the HVAC pneumatic control system—in a safe and efficient manner. The position requires repair and maintenance work in patient rooms, offices, and other assigned hospital areas, as well as floating to support off‑site hospital‑owned properties.

• One (1) to two (2) years of formal training in mechanical or construction trades
• National EPA Section 608 Certification—State, County, City, Trade License Authority upon hire
• Two years of experience with HVAC operations and associated systems in an industrial or institutional environment

Base salary: $24.18 – $37.54 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
