Project Superintendent

This role will oversee the installation of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. They serve as a lead on the job site for other technicians and subcontractors.

All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job. Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard suppression systems according to work instructions and applicable codes. Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other technicians or sub-contractors. Work with the Project Manager, Field Project Superintendent and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.

Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation. Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action. Perform in depth troubleshooting, repair and replacement of system equipment. Conduct training with customers on the functionality of the fire system. Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent, required. Five years' experience in service and/or installation of fire alarm or special hazard fire suppression systems, required. Experience reading blueprints, required. Fire alarm programming experience, required. FASA/BASA license, preferred. Associate degree in electronics or related field, preferred. NICET (Fire Alarm / Special Hazard) certification, preferred. Experience with the following manufacturers:
Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, preferred.

Experience with intelligent fire control panel programming software. Knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft and standard internet usage. Strong time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously. Ability to lead a team effectively. Demonstrated customer service mindset.
