Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling & Security Systems | Lubbock, TX

Earn $20–$25/hr with weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.

Responsibilities
  • Pull, terminate, dress, and label Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and service access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems
  • Build out and support MDFs, IDFs, telecom rooms, and network infrastructure
  • Read and interpret low voltage system layouts, blueprints, and construction drawings
  • Test all installed cabling using appropriate testing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and system performance issues
  • Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
  • Install and support low voltage systems in K-12 schools, commercial buildings, offices, and industrial facilities
Requirements
  • 2+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in low voltage systems
  • Must have K-12 project experience and knowledge of school environments
  • Experience with structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure
  • Semblance experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
  • Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
  • Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
