The Sprinkler Fitter is responsible for independently performing installation of fire sprinkler systems. This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
Responsibilities- Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
- Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Accurately and timely complete required documentation and installation reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Support and assist entry‑level technicians and apprentices as needed.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler fitting / pipe fitting as an Apprentice or Technician.
- NICET Level I or above preferred.
- Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system installation practices.
- Must have a clean driving record and an active driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Can perform tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
