Position: Union Data Center Installer (Traveler)
** The role will be a 3 months traveling project (100% t travel). The role will be baaed in Abernathy, TX (Just north of Lubbock, TX)*

* As an  
** Installer** ,you will be responsible for the hands-on installation and decommissioning ofnetwork and cabling infrastructure within a data center environment. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to quality workmanship. You will work closely under the guidance of senior technicians andleads, performing tasks such as pulling and terminating copper and fiber cables, installing ladder racks, seismic bracing, and network equipment, aswell as labeling and testing connections.

A strong understanding of wiring schemes, job floor plans, and telecom tools is essential, along with the ability to maintain data center cleanliness and follow industry best practices.

** What You'll Do:*
* · Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.

· Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement.

· Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.

· Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness.

· Followall production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.

· Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.

· Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work.

· Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.

** What You'll Need:*
* · Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.

· Must understand customer service.

· Cleared understanding of job safety requirements.

· Shouldbe familiar on wiring schemes and wiring test.

· Reportsto Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II,Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians.

· Perform4 pair continuity testing

· Pullall types of low voltage cable including copper telecom cable

· Performing all types of copper field terminations

· Install ladder racking and seismic bracing

· Patch network equipment

· Readand Understand Port Maps/Matrices

· Readand understand job floor plan and TC drawings

· Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling.

· Install Copper and Fiber Cabling and labeling

· Affixing Labels to cabling and Power Cords

· Affixbar coding to equipment

· Affixfree printed label

· Cutand install threaded rod

· Cutand install Uni-strut

· Cutand install fiber trough

· Create/test Bonding whips, straps, and connections

· Understand the basics of  FIM  and operate scanner

· Install and test coax cabling (series 6 & 11)

· InstallOSP cables through conduits and maintenance

· Install pull strings through conduits, in ceilings

· Install ISP cables through conduits, in ceilings,

· Install box eliminators (mud rings) in drywall

· Howto install/maintain fire stopping

· Understanding/Usageof fiber types (SM/MM/Ribbon)

· Install and Service Network Equipment

· Install ISP/OSP into cable enclosures (OSE)
