Norton Energy Drilling is seeking experienced Top Drive Technicians to join their team in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves servicing and repairing top drives on drilling rigs, both in the field and at the shop. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with NOV and Canrig top drives and a strong understanding of hydraulic and AC systems. This is a great opportunity for those looking to work in the oilfield sector with housing provided for those living outside the Lubbock area.

• One year of field service experience
• Two years working with NOV and Canrig top drives
• Excellent working knowledge of AC and hydraulic top drives
• Ability to diagnose problems and make field repairs
• Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems
  
  Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematic diagrams
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
