Encompass Health is seeking an experienced HVAC/Electrical Technician to keep our hospital environment safe, reliable, and comfortable for patients and staff. In this on-site role, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, and related building systems in a 24/7 care setting. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, respond to urgent service calls, support life-safety and backup power systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Perform electrical maintenance, including panels, lighting, outlets, and motors.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules using a CMMS/work order system.
- Support life-safety and critical systems, including generators and emergency power.
- Monitor and adjust building automation systems for comfort and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and building code requirements.
- Respond to urgent maintenance calls to minimize downtime and protect patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical and facility staff to prioritize work and communicate status.
- Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately.
- Participate in safety, compliance, and technical training to support continuous improvement.
