Job Description

Be the Bridge to Success:
Site Coordinator @ Roosevelt Junior High

Are you passionate about changing the trajectory of a child’s life? Communities In Schools of the South Plains® is looking for a dedicated, high-energy Site Coordinator to join our team at Roosevelt Junior High. We don’t just work in schools; we build a support system that ensures every student has the tools to overcome obstacles and stay on the path to graduation.

The Mission

As a Site Coordinator, you are the heartbeat of the CIS program on campus. You aren’t just managing cases; you are a mentor, an advocate, and a connector. You’ll work directly with students at risk of falling through the cracks, providing them with the guidance and resources they need to thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Empower Students: Provide one-on-one support, facilitate small groups, and offer guidance to families.
  • Mobilize Resources: Coordinate with community partners to bring essential services (food, clothing, healthcare, and more) directly to the students who need them most.
  • Lead the Program: Implement the proven CIS model to improve attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
  • Be a Champion: Act as the bridge between the school, the home, and the community.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in student services and case management.
  • The “Extra” Factor: A background or interest in mental health is highly desired.
  • The Essentials: A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a criminal background check, and a “can-do” attitude.

Why Join Us?

This is an immediate opening for someone ready to hit the ground running. If you are a natural problem-solver with a heart for the Lubbock community, we want to meet you.

Download & fill application and submit along with resumé to apply.

CIS South Plains is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer. We are committed to cultivating an environment where equal employment opportunities are available to all associates and job applicants regardless of race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, age, gender, pregnancy, marital status, familial status, disability, or genetic information, in compliance with applicable federal, state and local law.
