Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Lubbock, TX. The role offers hourly pay of $25.50, weekly payment, and comprehensive benefits for a rewarding driving career.

  Touch – medical supplies

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months within the last 3 years, or
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, or
  • 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Additional screening may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle record checks, and customer background requirements.
