As a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer at Penske, you’ll make sure vehicles are fueled, clean and safe before they hit the road again. You will be the face of Penske—the person greeting our customers when they arrive and the one sending them off with a smile.

• Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience while you fuel and wash vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are complete
• Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs
• Completing additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to work outside
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Must understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
• Must perform all work in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Position is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file, annual MVR checks, DOT physical, safety performance history, and for CDL holders a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start, subject to FMCSA clearinghouse review
• Willingness to work the required schedule, at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to background screening (including criminal checks, employment and education verification), pass a drug screen and physical as required by the DOT, and possibly travel locally for training

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must be able to accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

• Duty requires frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
• Hands must be used routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, and operate required tools or controls
• Must be able to work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
• Must be able to work safely in all weather conditions
• Must be able to see and hear adequately to navigate the workplace safely amid frequent truck traffic
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg; must push/pull truck tires that can exceed 100lbs
