Workforce Mobile Unit Driver
Works with customers to provide direction in developing the best and quickest route to self-sufficiency. Will be driving the Workforce Mobile Unit to various communities within the 15-county service area. Will be responsible for registering customers in Workin Texas and providing information and other Workforce services.
Required experience in data entry, state data systems, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office products. Excellent interpersonal skills on. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have basic knowledge of operations of motor vehicles and ability to perform vehicle pre-trip inspection, and minor and routine maintenance on transportation vehicles.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds is essential. Must be accepted by Agency insurance.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must have at least a Class C Driver's License
Must have and maintain an acceptable driver's record. Driver's license background checks will be conducted by the Agency
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted for a degree.
