Workforce Mobile Unit Driver

Works with customers to provide direction in developing the best and quickest route to self-sufficiency. Will be driving the Workforce Mobile Unit to various communities within the 15-county service area. Will be responsible for registering customers in Workin Texas and proving information and other Workforce services.

• Required experience in data entry, state data systems, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use the Internet and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills on. Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have basic knowledge of operations of motor vehicles and ability to perform vehicle pre-trip inspection, and minor and routine maintenance on transportation vehicles.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds is essential.
• Must be accepted by Agency insurance.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have at least a Class C Driver's License
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driver's record. Driver's license background checks will be conducted by the Agency.
• A High Scholl diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education may be substituted for a degree.
