Forklift​/Order Picker

Location:

Lubbock, TX

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM) + OT as requested.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour + Overtime opportunities.

As an Order Picker or Picker Packer, you will be responsible for reading incoming orders and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery. The duties include operating forklifts and other heavy machinery, updating inventory counts, and counting out the appropriate number of goods to fulfill orders.

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collect order notes to fulfill deliveries.
• Pick out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
• Securely shrink-wrap items before placing them in envelopes or boxes.
• Operate handling equipment according to industrial safety regulations.
• Load items into delivery vehicles.
• Update stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
• Manage stock control including item replenishment and storage.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as necessary.

• Ability to read and write in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certified (minimum 1 year).
• Prior experience with standard sit‑down or stand‑up forklift.
• Prior experience using a cherry‑picker forklift.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards).
• Experience or knowledge of inventory management.

Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
