Pharmacy Technician
The Hampden County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a highly motivated and energetic full-time Pharmacy Technician
who will be responsible for the transportation and distribution of approved medications to the client / inmate population while maintaining confidentiality. Additional responsibilities include ordering refill medications,following up on medication discrepancies including missed medications, ensuring proper documentation of medication in Health Trax, medication cart maintenance, manifesting all medications for clients/inmates, and working alongside the Health Services Coordinator and Nursing Supervisors.
The Pharmacy Technician is also responsible for the proper management of all medications including controlled substances.
Medical support staff will adhere to all pharmacy standards while focusing on Health Services policy compliance and safety standards.
The position requires you to have a valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration/License and/or National Pharmacy Certification with experience.
Full-time positions start at $57,277.30 per year, and offer an excellent benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and more.

-11 p.m with rotating weekends.
