The Hampden County Sheriff's Office is hiring
full-time EMTs who are looking for a change of pace and a regular schedule in a structured environment at our Hampden County Correctional Center in Ludlow (Main Institution) and Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center in Chicopee. The EMT will work with various healthcare professionals and security personnel in a correctional environment.
Be an EMT with the Sheriff's Office and provide meaningful care to our justice-involved individuals including withdrawal management, checking vital signs, Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale, Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Alcohol, admission intake screenings, and on-site emergency responses.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
Three (3) 12-hour shifts (7 p.m.
-7 a.m.) plus one (1) 4-hour shift, with rotating weekends
