Skills:

Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to perform a variety of tasks often changing assignment on short notice Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Records, Reports, and Correspondence:

1. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required. Maintain student records according to established procedures.

2. Maintain confidentiality.

3. Provide professional communication with students, parents, community members, staff, and other professionals at all times.

4. Use proper phone etiquette at all times, speaking slowly and clearly. Take reliable messages, and route to the appropriate staff.

5. Ensure superior customer care skills are used via eye contact, facial expressions, voice inflections, body language, and an attitude of "going the extra mile" for others.

6. Ensure all requests for information are dealt with in an appropriate timeframe.

7. Create and maintain a welcoming, service-oriented environment toward all internal and external customers.

Posture:
Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting

Motion:
Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching

Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds)

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress
