Product Test Technician Senior​/Electronics - 2nd Shift​/Lufkin, TX

Description

Product Test Technician Senior for Lockheed Martin Lufkin Operations. Our team is responsible for testing all products processed through the Lufkin site, including in‑process testing of wire harness assemblies and circuit card assemblies as well as box‑level and end‑item testing.

• Set up and operate test equipment to test, align, adjust, evaluate, and verify conformance of electrical, electronic, electro‑mechanical, and electro‑optical products to engineering specifications.
• Box Level and End Level testing.
• Functional testing, environmental testing including integration, vibration, and temperature testing.
• May require heavy equipment operating and handling (overhead crane).

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Willing and able to work 2nd shift.
• Two‑year Associate Degree in Electronics from an accredited college or equivalent, plus approximately 2 years of direct test experience using electronic automated test equipment.
• Electronics Certificate from an accredited college.
• One‑year technical schooling in electronics and one year of applied experience.
• Two years of military service with electronic schooling and applied experience.
• 5+ years experience in specialized electronic manufacturing with a demonstrated technical skill set.

• Familiarity with mate/de‑mate of electrical contacts and connectors.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) mitigation principles.
• Basic blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite and basic computer use.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and must be able to obtain or already possess a Secret clearance. This position requires a government security clearance.

• Shift: 2nd shift (4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week).
• Onsite full‑time.
