Field Specialist III – Power Transmission
The Field Specialist – Power Transmission is responsible for providing on-site mechanical/technical direction and operating support of Power Transmission Equipment within customer facilities during commissioning, start‑up, operations, preventive maintenance, and trouble‑shooting situations in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements.
Responsibilities- Coordinating and overseeing work at a field site, providing quality service to the customer.
- Job role is including sales, job design, execution, and follow‑up activities.
- Providing the planning necessary for the job, including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
- Coordinating and directing the activities of service operators.
- Coordinating the clean‑up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
- Evaluating individual performance levels of the crew and training operators to improve their job performance.
- Have an associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited two‑year college (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in field service or equivalent technical experience).
- Have proven mechanical abilities.
- Have ability to read and interpret detail drawings, documents, specifications, and instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedure manuals, and the ability to solve practical problems related to gear repair equipment.
