The Finance Relationship Banker is a full-time, on‑site role based in Lufkin, TX. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with retail and small business customers, proactively identifying banking, savings, lending, and investment solutions that support their financial goals. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting customer consultations, opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and educating customers on digital tools and financial products.

The Finance Relationship Banker collaborates with internal partners to refer specialized services, ensures adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements, and participates in community outreach and branch initiatives. This role also involves meeting individual and branch performance goals while delivering a consistently positive, customer‑centered experience.

• Customer relationship management and client service skills, including the ability to build trust, listen actively, and provide tailored financial solutions.
• Sales, cross‑selling, and business development skills to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking, lending, and investment products.
• Cash handling, transaction processing, and operational accuracy skills, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
• Comfort with banking technology, digital platforms, and basic computer proficiency to support customers using online and mobile tools.
• Relevant experience in retail banking, financial services, or customer‑facing roles; prior branch or teller experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site full time in Lufkin, TX, manage multiple priorities, and meet performance goals in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
