Texas A&M Forest Service in Lufkin, Texas is seeking a Resource Specialist I to support the Mitigation & Prevention Department, primarily the Wildfire Risk Reduction program. The role includes equipment maintenance, mechanical fuels reduction, field inspections, data collection, and operating heavy equipment such as tracked vehicles, mulchters, chippers, and chainsaws.
This is a two-year position contingent on funding; occasional overnight travel may be required.
