Repair Proposals Specialist

Responsibilities- Develop repair quotations (labor, material, services) using appropriate pricing methodology
- Manage RFQs and budgetary quotes, including identifying required parts and services based on customer inputs
- Review engineering evaluations and validate repair scope, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, and Operations to gather inputs and resolve gaps in technical scope
- Track and prioritize active quotes to meet turnaround expectations and business priorities
- Validate lead times, scope inclusions, and proposal quality prior to release
- Provide support to Sales and engage customers as needed for clarification and/or customer witness points
- Identify and drive improvements in quoting processes, tools, and pricing consistency
- Maintain on‑site visibility in the repair shop to monitor progress and ensure alignment between quoted scope and repair execution timing
- Support repair order entry, change order management, and spare parts quoting as volume dictates
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED.
- Have a high degree of experience in Microsoft Office platforms including Excel, with preferred experience in Oracle and ability to utilize internally developed systems (New Order Workflow, Deal Machine).
- Have experience in industrial equipment, repair services, or technical quoting (preferred).
- Have strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical systems, parts lists, and technical drawings.
