Position: Acima Sales Manager - Part Time

Overview

Acima Sales Manager PT – The Sales Manager-PT is a key role in retail partner stores, responsible for managing all activities within an assigned partner location. The position aims to maximize store revenue and profits through effective management, training and development of coworkers, and meeting store sales goals. This role is performed in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The Sales Manager-PT position is paid an hourly rate in accordance with Acima’s usual payroll procedures. As an hourly employee, you must accurately record all time worked and comply with all applicable meal and rest period laws.

Compensation: $15.74 – $19.09

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and Leadership
    • Manage and direct the work of all store coworkers on a day-to-day basis
    • Motivate, evaluate, coach, and counsel coworkers, including accountability for duties and policy adherence
    • Nurture, identify, and promote coworkers to Sales Manager and Assistant Sales Manager
    • Establish partnerships with store personnel to generate referrals and educate them on the rental and lease process
    • Train, supervise, and assess dedication to exceptional customer service
    • Apply discretion in day-to-day management of store personnel, sales, and customers
    • Enhance coworkers’ sales and account management skills through ongoing training
    • Address and resolve coworker and customer issues to maintain satisfaction
    • Cultivate a positive work environment to improve retention
    • Recruit, interview, and hire coworkers for the store
  • Sales
    • Establish and track daily and weekly sales objectives
    • Supervise and guide coworkers in sales activities
    • Facilitate the conversion of rental and lease agreements and oversee sales outcomes
    • Address challenging accounts requiring managerial intervention
    • Authorize customer commitments
    • Oversee day-to-day sales operations
    • Communicate the accessibility and convenience of Acima’s leasing services
    • Educate customers on lease terms and delivery protocols; review overdue accounts and encourage timely payments
    • Guide customer interactions on leasing options with clear payment terms
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven track record of success in retail sales management
  • Strong leadership and the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
  • Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance to lead and manage store operations

Expected Hours of Work

This is a Part Time position. The days and hours of operation are Monday through Sunday and will vary, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, the Sales Manager is regularly required to talk and listen to coworkers and customers. The role is active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing as needed.
