Description
You will be the Second Shift Engineering Planner for Lufkin Production Operations. As Engineering Planner you will have constant communication with multiple functions to optimize work instructions and mitigate production line stoppages.
What You Will Be DoingAs Engineering Planner you will work with Manufacturing Engineers to maintain accurate, consistent and reliable work instructions for the production operators to reference and execute.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing work instruction improvements.
- Processing redlines on production work orders to facilitate evaluations or corrections.
- Facilitating troubleshooting of Apriso consumption issues and systematic failures.
- Placing work orders on stop work to facilitate additional troubleshooting or containment.
This position may require up to 10% overtime annually in support of program execution.

Basic Qualifications- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments.
- Degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment.
- Ability to work Second Shift.
- Experience with Apriso, SAP and Windchill.
- Experience with Technical Writing.
- Ability to interpret drawings.
- Ability to multitask.
- Prior manufacturing experience with circuit cards, harnesses assemblies, and electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
