We are seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyor Belt Technician to join our growing belt conveyor splicing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with conveyor belt splicing, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial environments. This role involves working on conveyor systems, mechanical and electrical components, hydraulics, and high‑voltage equipment to ensure safe and efficient conveyor operation. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable traveling to job sites, working long hours, and performing physically demanding work in manufacturing, mining, or bulk material handling environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform conveyor belt splicing (hot, cold, and mechanical) and belt installations
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Work safely around high‑voltage systems and heavy machinery
- Read and interpret work scopes, drawings, and job specifications
- Provide professional, customer‑focused service at job sites
- Travel to customer locations and work extended or irregular hours as required
- Experience in belt conveyor splicing or industrial conveyor maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and hydraulic knowledge preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve under pressure
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Previous work in conveyor splicing, mining, aggregates, manufacturing, or bulk material handling
- Familiarity with hot vulcanizing presses and splicing tools
- High‑voltage or lockout/tagout experience
