Material Distribution Handler - Lufkin, TX

Job Description

As the Material Distribution Handler Specialist, you will be responsible for performing manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties. This position is onsite full-time at our Lufkin, TX Operations facility, which has approximately 500 employees who perform circuit card assembly, wire harness assembly and final assembly, integration and testing for several missile programs.

• Experience with manual and clerical material handling
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance

• Use hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices
• Maintain data on the computer
• Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials
• Prepare records of materials shipped and bills of lading; route materials to destinations
• May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes
• Prepare parts and tooling for special shipment
• Use ERP systems to complete warehouse transactions
• Utilize standard work instructions for the shipping of hardware

• System application processes; database experience
• Knowledge and prior use of forklifts or hand trucks
• Warehouse experience, trained to material handling

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
