Welder

• Followmanufacturing methods to perform welding tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, groupleaderor experienced associates in the area.
• As required by the manufacturing process, willoperatemanual grinding equipment.
• Performs visual and in-process inspection sin accordance with
  
  API and ISO quality specifications.
• Helpsfacilitatethe team in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving welding problems that enhance through-put within the work team.
• Responsible for supporting the team and team'sobjectives.
• Responsible for training team members.
• Required to pass periodic welding tests and qualifications in compliance with qualification procedures.
• Perform general clean upto keepworkarea clean and organized.
• Follows Company’sCompliance requirements.
• Maintains and improves the quality management system.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

• Regardless of other duties, the Welding operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education and Training:
  
  High schoolorasdeemedsufficient by management
• Technical Requirements:ability to read and interpretprocess instructions (WPS, PQR);use of ERP system;basic computer skills;ability touse of general hand tools, cutting torch, airtoolsand precision measuring equipment; ability tooperatematerial moving equipment –overhead crane.
• Experience:
  
  At least2yearsworkexperienceinthe area, or asdeemedsufficient by management
