Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the Role

Manufacturing Supervisor for the Lufkin Operations team. Lead manufacturing activities to achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives for production manufacturing areas, applying lean manufacturing skills and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead daily operations on 2nd shift (5:00 pm – 3:30 am or 6:00 pm – 4:30 am, Mon‑Thu).
• Develop work assignments and assess performance to meet quality, schedule, and cost initiatives.
• Assign daily tasks and priorities, and manage execution.
• Reinforce a team‑oriented culture and ensure a safe work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement and develop technical competencies.
• Oversee proficiency and compliance training plans, identify skill gaps, and take corrective action.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
• Initiate and implement new initiatives for production operations.

Position based in Lufkin, Texas.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years combined education and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and presentation experience.
• Employee relations experience.
• Experience with professional electronics manufacturing/production methodologies.
• Experience using business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to identify and present solutions professionally to diverse audiences.
• Experience with employee involvement programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience leading multifunctional teams.
• Forecasting manpower requirements.
• Basic knowledge of HR principles.
• Experience with tooling improvements and implementation.
• Experience facilitating SIA or improvement events.
• Knowledge related to facility and production area layout changes.
• Complex problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Lufkin Operations.

Position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level:
Secret.
