Operates automatically fired boilers to generate steam that supplies heat or power for buildings or industrial processes.
Primary Responsibilities- Rotating shifts nights and days with starting pay of $18.00 per hour.
- Maintains boiler temperatures.
- Observes and notates meters and gauges.
- Drys wood to required specification.
- Drills sample cores from charges to determine moisture content.
- Operates mobile equipment to maintain boiler feed stock levels.
- Maintains a clean working area.
- Participates and contributes to the company safety program.
