• Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, groupleaderor experienced associates in the area.
• Perform general clean upto keepworkarea clean and organized.
• Verify CNCprogramintegrity beforeoperatingthe equipment.
• Measure and install tools into equipment
• Perform self-inspection for the partsresultedfrom the machining operation.
• Work fromblueprintsand process control documents.
• Responsible for quality of parts produced.
• Responsible for documentation and identification generated or related toproductionof the job.
• Work within close tolerances.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Follows Company’sCompliance requirements.
• Maintains and improves the quality management system.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Regardless of other duties,the Machining Technician Ihasa responsibility to followLUFKINproduction, safety, and quality procedures.

• Education and Training:
  
  High schoolorasdeemedsufficient by management
• Technical Requirements:basiccomputerskills;ability tooperatemechanical equipment up to3 axesCNC equipment;ability to use measurement instruments; ability to readdrawings and perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to read and interpretroutine instructions.
• Experience:
  
  At least2yearsworkexperienceinthe area, or asdeemedsufficient by management
