Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Lufkin, Texas for a 13‑week assignment.

Highly competitive based on 12‑hour shifts; tax‑free stipend to be determined.
- One year recent experience as an ICU RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
- TNCC, NIHSS certifications.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required.
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes.
- Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols.
- Operate advanced life‑support equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high‑acuity ICU environments.
- Document interventions and notify providers of status changes.
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, etc.).
- Document all assessments in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families about the ICU environment.
- Communicate closely with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technology.
- Adhere to infection‑control and safety protocols.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties within scope.
- Follow hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication.
- Read, write, and communicate in English.
- Follow written and verbal instructions; PC proficiency.
- Physical ability: stand, move equipment 50‑100 lbs, push/pull, bend.
- Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel.
- Technical/motor: perform fine manipulation and procedure assist.
- Mental: cope with frequent public contact, work under pressure.
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
