• Assessment:
  Conduct admission and ongoing assessment of patients, meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, and notify physicians of changes in condition.
• Planning:
  Design, direct, evaluate, and document care plans, teach patients/families, and coordinate transitions of care for safe discharge. Work with other disciplines for specialized patient needs.
• Implementation:
  Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments; implement safety initiatives, medication protocols, and physician orders.
• Evaluation:
  Reassess patients at appropriate intervals, notify physicians as necessary, and adjust care to meet emerging needs.

  Give and receive bedside shift reports with family participation, ensuring accurate continuity of care.
• Environment & Patient Safety:
  Maintain a safe work environment, promptly remove used equipment, and report hazards immediately.

• Associate of Occupational Science in Nursing or equivalent diploma.
• At least one (1) year of RN experience upon hire.
• Demonstrated competence in RN performance expectations, meeting experience requirements upon hire.
• Registered Nurse in TX license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days of hire.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing upon hire.
