Night shift LVN (6p.m.–6a.m.) at MRC's Pine Crest, a Lufkin‑based continuing care retirement community certified in the Eden Alternative Registry.

• Direct and coordinate activities of aides.
• Perform basic daily nursing functions.
• Administer proper medications.
• Provide nursing needs of residents efficiently, economically, and with a caring approach while maintaining high standards and quality care.

• Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas LVN license required.
• Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric, or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
• Models MRC's ICARE values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
• Ability to recognize behavior deviations from the norm; cope with emergencies calmly; and deal comfortably with chronically ill aged.
• Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully, and tactfully in all situations.
