Rhino Medical is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Lufkin, Texas. This opportunity involves providing emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or surgical services within a busy Emergency Department setting, supporting critical patient care across multiple shifts starting as soon as possible.

This role offers a minimum six-month commitment, with providers expected to cover at least two full-time shifts weekly. The facility manages approximately 78 patients daily in a trauma-designated ED featuring 12 beds and FAST Track beds, staffed by a dedicated team of 24 physicians, 24 NPs (Tues–Sun), and 30 APPs (Mon). Providers will work within a modern environment utilizing the Medhost EMR system and supporting infrastructure.

Clinical Scope

• Duties spanning emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, and surgery

• Support of trauma and urgent care patient needs

Requirements

• Texas medical licensure active and unrestricted
• Certified ACNP, AANP, AAPA etc.
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
