Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Days)

Lufkin, Texas

Contract – Travel Assignment (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving a pediatric to geriatric patient population
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 in a 45-bed unit environment
• Participate in on-call requirements as assigned
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST electronic medical records system

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Orthopedics
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• NIHSS certification required

• Experience with MEDHOST EMR platform
• Comfort working with a broad patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric
• Flexibility with block scheduling

• Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a fast-paced Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting on a travel assignment with a projected start date of July 2026
