Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Lufkin, TX

Contract – Travel Assignment (13 Weeks) | Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Participate in call rotation as required by unit needs
• Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
• Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST electronic medical records system
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including block scheduling when applicable

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Orthopedic nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with MEDHOST EMR system
• Experience in a high-census or fast-paced Med Surg / Telemetry environment

• Opportunity to gain experience in a 45-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with an immediate start date
• 13-week contract offering professional growth and travel nursing experience in East Texas
