Do RN's read strips? tele monitor techs monitor patients but RNs have to be able to read strips Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge Nurse and House Supervisors and Nurse Educators available Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios PCTs are present 12/1 RT/Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) Cpap, Bipap, and high flow patients Shifts & Scheduling 12 hour shifts scheduling is by manager, cannot guarantee block scheduling Weekend Requirement every other weekend required Holiday Requirement holidays are required Call or Standby Requirement n/a Floating Requirements will float to all med/surg units.

Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy blue Unit/Department Specific Orientation Kurth tower is all med/surg tele and department orientation is completed.
