American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown position requiring cardiac drip titration experience and cath lab recovery skills.

• Work in the Cardiac PCU/Stepdown unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Cath lab recovery/Observation Unit caring for post-procedure cardiac patients
• Requires cardiac drip titration experience
• Requires experience pulling sheaths, monitoring sites, and general med/surg patient care knowledge
• Uses Paragon EMR charting system
• 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
• Required to float to Med/Tele and ED hold units as needed

• Active TX or Compact RN license required, pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cardiac drip titration experience required
• Cath lab recovery and sheath pulling experience required
• BSN not required
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac stepdown and cath lab recovery patients, including monitoring and sheath removal
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by any Common Spirit-associated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year
