As a Quality Specialist - QA Engineering you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet technical, normative, and contractual quality requirements. You will act as the key quality interface between internal teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and high standards of execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Quality Specialist - QA Engineering you will be responsible for:

During the commercial phase (Inquiry to Order - ITO):

  • Analyzing customer technical specifications, applicable standards, regulatory constraints and contractual quality requirements.
  • Identifying quality risks, constraints and impacts associated with customer requirements.
  • Providing quality input to the commercial and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and integrated into the offer.
  • Supporting feasibility reviews by highlighting quality, inspection, testing and documentation impacts.
  • Contributing to the definition of inspection philosophies, deviations strategy and specific quality deliverables during the quotation phase.

During the execution phase (Order to Remittance - OTR):

  • Defining, implementing and maintaining the inspection and test plans (ITP) and required certifications in accordance with:
    • Customer contractual requirements
    • Applicable codes, standards and regulations
    • Internal company procedures and quality system requirements

Acting as the main quality interface with customers throughout the project lifecycle, including:

  • Kick-off meetings
  • Quality review meetings
  • Factory acceptance tests (FAT) and/or other inspections
  • Coordinating and supporting internal stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, production, inspection, testing) to ensure proper execution of quality requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Ensuring that all quality activities are planned, executed, monitored and recorded in a timely manner to support the preparation of the final customer quality documentation dossier.
  • Monitoring compliance at each key milestone of the project and identifying gaps, risks or non-conformities as early as possible.
  • Leading the analysis, definition and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions when deviations or non-conformities are detected.
  • Verifying the conformity of the product, documentation and records prior to delivery and defining, supervising and validating any actions required to restore compliance.
  • Ensuring that quality deliverables are complete, accurate and compliant before product release and shipment.
Responsibilities, Authority & Autonomy

Under the responsibility of the Project Quality and Production Control Manager, the Quality Project Manager is:

  • Accountable for ensuring compliance of projects with technical, normative, regulatory and contractual requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting quality risks, deviations and non-conformities, and for proposing and implementing appropriate mitigation actions.
  • Authorized to stop or suspend any activity or phase of the project at any moment of the process (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, testing, documentation or delivery) if:
    • Quality requirements are not met
    • Compliance with applicable standards, regulations or contractual commitments is at risk
    • Product conformity, safety, or customer satisfaction could be compromised
  • Empowered to upscale quality issues to management and customers, as per communication policy, when necessary to ensure timely decision-making.
  • Autonomously, in decision‑making within the defined quality framework to protect product compliance and the company's quality standards.
