Quality Specialist - QA Engineering

As a Quality Specialist – QA Engineering you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet technical, normative, and contractual quality requirements. You will act as the key quality interface between internal teams, customers, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- In the commercial phase (Inquiry to Order – ITO):
- Analyze customer technical specifications, applicable standards, regulatory constraints, and contractual quality requirements.
- Identify quality risks, constraints, and impacts associated with customer requirements.
- Provide quality input to the commercial and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and integrated into the offer.
- Support feasibility reviews by highlighting quality, inspection, testing, and documentation impacts.
- Contribute to the definition of inspection philosophies, deviations strategy, and specific quality deliverables during the quotation phase.
- In the execution phase (Order to Remittance – OTR):
- Define, implement, and maintain inspection and test plans (ITP) and required certifications in accordance with customer contractual requirements, applicable codes, standards, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Act as the main quality interface with customers throughout the project lifecycle, including:
- Participate in kick‑off, quality review meetings, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and other inspections.
- Coordinate and support internal stakeholders (engineering, supply chain, production, inspection, testing) to ensure proper execution of quality requirements at all stages.
- Ensure that all quality activities are planned, executed, monitored, and recorded in a timely manner to support the preparation of the final customer quality documentation dossier.
- Monitor compliance at each key milestone, identify gaps, risks, or non‑conformities early, and lead the analysis, definition, and follow‑up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Verify product, documentation, and record conformity before delivery and supervise actions required to restore compliance.
- Ensure that quality deliverables are complete, accurate, and compliant before product release and shipment.
- Authority & Autonomy
- Accountable for ensuring compliance of projects with technical, normative, regulatory, and contractual requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Monitor and report quality risks, deviations, and non‑conformities; propose and implement mitigation actions.
- Authorized to stop or suspend any activity or phase of the project if quality requirements are not met or if compliance is at risk.
- Escalate quality issues to management and customers as per communication policy.
- Quality, Health, Safety & Environment responsibilities
- Ensure application of QHSE procedures in force.
- Promote environmental stewardship and reduce company consumption and waste.
- Maintain and archive quality‑related records; facilitate internal audits.
- Participate in feedback on quality, hygiene, safety, and environmental issues.
Qualifications
- Knowledge
- Read and understand technical plans; good understanding of gear machine operating principles.
- Understand principles of production workshop organization.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and relevant regulations (e.g., ATEX/IECEX).
- Proficiency in technical English.
- Expertise
- Manage multiple activities in parallel, analyze situations and data, adapt action plans, and achieve objectives.
- Lead meetings, write reports, and present progress at all organizational levels.
- Define and implement action plans; lead improvement initiatives.
