Our client, a leading manufacturer serving the oil & gas industry, is seeking an experienced QC Inspector to join their team in the Lufkin, TX area. This position is responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process by performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections while supporting compliance with the company's Quality Management System.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for this position.
Benefits- Hourly rate: $20-$25/hour depending on experience

- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.
- Approve final product release in accordance with Quality Management System requirements.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and support outsourced inspection activities when required.
- Maintain welder qualification records and manage calibration and traceability of inspection equipment.
- Initiate and track quality notifications, nonconformances, corrective actions, and product holds through resolution.
- Participate in internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Experience with receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, calibration processes, and audit support.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
