Responsibilities- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding them on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
- Assist management in supervising associates: assign duties, communicate goals and feedback, train on processes and procedures, provide direction on member service approaches, and ensure member complaints are resolved per company guidelines.
- Receive and stock supplies and merchandise, maintain the sales floor, use equipment and merchandising, and complete required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, adhering to steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies: handle claims and returns, zone the area, stock, arrange, clean, and organize displays, sign and price merchandise, identify shrink and damages, and secure fragile/high‑shrink items.
- Monitor product quality: ensure rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards, and handle all departments accordingly.
- Lead and participate in teams, share resources and tools, determine priorities, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and model adaptation to change.
- Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged per policy.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics by guiding, demonstrating application, implementing action plans, and using the Open Door Policy.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- At least 6 months of retail experience.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Experience leading a team, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workload of associates.
The hourly wage range is $22.00 to $30.00, plus applicable premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
