Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in LUFKIN, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role that allows you to build a schedule that works for you. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a secure environment, deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, conduct routine rounds, deliver customer service, and work with a team in a people-first culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, verify access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or facility issues according to post instructions.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, following unarmed post orders, and assisting with incident reporting, visitor direction, and/or other assigned security-related duties.

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
